As per our national governing body, you must do a beginners course to join the club, unless you have done one at a previous club.

Our courses cost £60 and last 6 weeks. These are usually run on a Sunday morning 9am - 11am. We can sometimes do them on a Tuesday or Friday evening 6pm - 8pm but this is done on coach availability. 

For a beginners course a child must be ages 10 and above.

We provide all the equipment. Sensible clothing is to be worn.

There could be a 6-12 month wait, we go through our waiting list in order. 

We take people for their DOE Award.This includes the initial 6 weeks beginner course, after this we will work on the Archery GB Porgress award badge scheme to show your progress.

To do this you must pay for a years membership with Archery GB. Please only do this after we have confirmed you can do the DOE award with us.

There is then 2 options for the club

1. Join the club £100, this would cover the initial cost of the beginners course for 6 weeks, then the club membership to carry on after the 6 weeks. For the duration of the DOE award we would not charge target fees, but these would be charged every session once completing the award.

2. Pay a one off fee for the duration of the DOE award £75.

We do basic taster sessions if you want to come and have a go without the cost of doing a beginners course.

These sessions are £5 each for 1 hour.

Ages 8+ for these sessions.

We also do a "just shoot" session for groups of 3 or more people. These cost £10 each per hour and you will be shown the basics of shooting. You will also do some scoring and there will be badges and certificates for the top 3, Gold, Silver & Bronze.
